SprayGuard coveralls and CleanGuard coveralls are certified for biological protection

If you open/read the attachment below, you’ll see that the suits are certified to the following standards:

EN 14605/05
EN 13982-1/05
EN 1073-2/03
EN 14126/04 *
UNI EN 1149-1/97
UNI EN 1149-2/99
UNI EN 1149-3/05

*EN14126 is the Biological Protection standard which brings together all the tests and procedures for determining resistance to microbiological pathogens.  This is the “gold standard” in the industry and the requirement that the World Health Organization is using when writing PPE standards.

Important Note:  By stating that a garment is certified to EN 14126, it states that the material during testing, has reached the maximum score (6 out of 6), for the following tests:

Blood resistance test (ISO 16603)
Resistance to bloodborne pathogens test (ISO 16604)
Resistance to bacterial penetration by contact test (ISO 22610)
Resistance to contaminated aerosols test (ISO 22611)
Resistance to contaminated particles test (ISO 22612)

It also mentions that the garment is: Spray-tight against liquid chemical and infective agents.  Particle tight and limited splash tight.  It is Class 1 certified against radioactive contaminants.

Our SprayGuard® coveralls are “certified” to protect against blood borne pathogens and other biological contaminants.  Please note that there is a well-known competitor in the marketplace who is recommending a protective coverall which is NOT certified for biological protection.  When we inquired about this particular competitor’s suit, their customer service person said, “it ‘should’ pass a biological test; however, No, it is not ‘certified’ for biological protection.”    Rumor has it that the nurse in Dallas, Texas who contracted Ebola while caring for an Ebola patient, may have been wearing a “non-certified” coverall.

If you have any questions regarding these standards or our certifications, please call or email.

Thank you again for your interest in our products.
